UK Barrels
A UK barrel is 36 imperial gallons (not to be confused with American gallons), about 163.659 liters or 0.163659 cubic meters. It is based on the traditional wine barrel used in the United Kingdom.
UK pints
UK pints are volume units used in the United Kingdom for measuring liquids such as beer and milk. One UK pint is about 0.568 liters.
UK law requires draught beer and cider to be sold in pints, halves or thirds of a pint, and still allows milk in returnable bottles to be sold by the pint.
