How do you convert millimeters to feet?
Divide by 304.8 – a foot is exactly 304.8 mm.
A metre (1,000 mm) is about 3.28 ft, and a 2,000 mm door is 6.56 ft, or about 6 ft 6¾ in.
There's no neat shortcut for this one. If you're used to centimetres, divide by 10 first and then by 30.48.
What is a millimeter?

The foot began as the length of a human foot, and so differed from place to place and from person to person. The modern international foot was fixed at exactly 0.3048 meters by agreement in 1959.
People's height is given in feet and inches in the US and UK, and aircraft altitude is given in feet nearly everywhere, metric countries included.
